Vinyl Flooring Installation

Vinyl floorings are made out of plastic(100%). It’s composition gives it superior resistance to moisture. No water will penetrate them. Even if water sits a long period of time, it wont damage the surface. Vinyl waterproof properties makes it an excellent choice for rooms that are prone to moisture, e.g. kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms and basements. You can install it over all kind of subfloors as a floating floor or glued down to subfloor. There’s no doubt vinyl floors beats laminate floors, people are more encouraged to do vinyl floors installations.

These are the type of Waterproof Vinyls:

  • Wood Plastic and Polymer Composite (WPC).
  • Stone Plastic Composite (SPC) Vinyl, It is also known as Rigid Core Vinyl.

Laminate Flooring Installation

Laminate floor is a synthetic product that simulates the look of real hardwood. It’s authentic wood floor appearance makes it popular between homeowners who likes the hardwood style floors. Laminate floors usually are less expensive than solid hardwood floors. There are some types of laminate floors which have water-resistant properties, but these doesn’t mean they are waterproof, since they will become seriously damaged if water sits on them for long periods of time.

  • Ceramic Tile : Not to be used for outdoors, softer than porcelain, cheaper than porcelain, absorbs more water so it can allow water to go easier underneath it.
  • Porcelain Tile : More suitable to be used outdoors, more denser and durable than ceramic tile, absorbs less water, so it's a great choice for bathrooms and high traffic areas.
